I'm moving my impressive book collection to the place I bought myself.
Every book that passes my fingers hold sweet memories.
I come across my Schaduwland collection and remember my father walking in the house with the first volume.
He's proud he found something his two daughters would definitely like and right he was.
Two more times he was able to walk inside the door with a next volume.
All three of us read it, fighting as usual for who would be the first to read it. Swearing that we wouldn't spoil eachother, which we didn't.
The third volume was clearly not yet the end. Every year or so, we checked if it was already available, but no such luck.
I'll be rereading them now, but silently I still hope that one day I can walk inside my parents place with the fourth (and fifth, sixth, ...) volume.
