Greetings Earthlings!

Well here I am — excited to be blogging as a Goodreads author for the very first time, while operating under the assumption that you’ve come here to learn more about me — or more precisely: to learn more about my literature, and so let’s see....

I’m a mother and a teacher who has tried very hard over the years not to avoid heavy questions about anything, no matter how uncomfortable they might make me; which of course, done properly, also provides the huge — albeit sometimes introspectively painful — payoff of personal expansion through synergistic communion.

While I believe that human discomfort in these situations essentially springs from existential panic due to intellectual confusion, and so as time went by all my fiction became sprinkled with speculation about things appearing to be truly paranormal, or the heartbreakingly malicious insanity generated by self-indulgent human denial, or our somewhat inadequate religious response to both — wondering what to tell myself and the children about matters of the heart, the social contract, and things that go bump in the night.

Yes, it can all be so terrifically tricky — especially that last one — for example: what to think when the blinking light hovering there in the distance can’t be seen through a telescope, or a window appears to open all by itself — not to mention all those people who saw the sun dance at Fatima; while I myself just can’t call absolutely all of the apparently sane people claiming to have had extraordinary experiences big fat liars — those seeing ghosts, or talking to entities, or spying something weird flying around in the sky. For instance, Moses came upon a mind-blowing, spontaneously combusted talking bush while simply tending the flock....

No, I’m not going to argue with any of them, whatever dimension their mind may be inhabiting. We need to move on. If even one crop circle has been real, then it’s high time for humanity to discuss the implications thereof. Alien no longer means someone from another country, while some people still appear to be in denial about other — in some cases definitely higher — intelligences that may have shared this planet with us all along, despite our lack of awareness.

Meanwhile, call me crazy, but keep I hoping that all manifestations of true intelligence agree with me that we’re all in this together, with open-minded reciprocity — particularly when discussing the nature of what we call God Almighty — being what’s required for everyone’s personal progress in the pursuit of happiness. Deep down, I feel fairly certain, we’re all just kids wanting something fun to do and someone nice to play with, while perhaps wishfully suspecting that every creature in the universe somehow craves this in direct proportion to their level of enlightenment.

And so I end up writing about how God is essentially Love, and how the supernatural becomes natural once we understand it, and how those wishing to have serious fun must take their fun seriously, and how humanity simply must transcend the us-and-them mentality, while trying to tell some entertaining stories with a few pretty good jokes.

Thank you so very much for reading!
