Since I'm new at this and not a practiced blogger, not sure how to begin.
After having two novels published during the early 1990s, neither of which sold a sou, it's difficult (if not impossible) to find a publisher today. Sooo...
I've begun self-publishing, both in ebook form, plus paperback, which I find is relatively easy to do, if you can learn how do convert your manuscript to a specific form, and if you can create your own cover. And it won't cost you a centime. The only really difficult part of the procedure, is selling the book. There are millions of self-published ebooks and paperbacks available online.
