I hope everyone celebrates our independence with some delicious barbecue, fireworks, and quality time with family and friends.

I will be attending a rooftop party where I will watch one of the best firework displays in the world sparkling above one of the greatest cities in the world.  The Freedom Tower is almost finished, and it’s a beauty, rising high above the rest of the skyline.  I always say how lucky I am to live here, and tonight is no exception.

Although this may seem an abrupt change of topic, my book is coming out in exactly one week!  After all my hard work and struggles, it still feels like a dream!  I’m beyond excited and every day I am so thankful for this incredible opportunity.
