There's always a lot going on in my household, but I'm really excited right now to announce that my first children's book hits the streets right about ... now! That's right. It's based on my own observations as a foster parent and adoptive parent. I hope it will help foster kids find the words for the difficult feelings they experience.

Aside from that, it's just a great story. Most foster care stories are! Kids with a lot of heart face great challenges every day, and for the most part, their struggles (triumphs, and defeats) go unnoticed.
