Memorial Day is a time to reflect not only on the men and women that have dedicated their lives to our country, but also a time to remember loved ones passed. More importantly, Memorial Day is a time to remember the One that gave His life so we might have a right to the tree of life. This we do in remembrance of Him.
Today I'm remembering my first love, Jesus. Second, I'm remembering my mother who left me two years ago this month (my heart still bleeds just to hear her voice); my dad who left me last year; my friends and family members that have gone on before [some too soon:]; our soldiers, and I am praying for the families of active military members and our government leaders that they make good, sound decisions for the peace of our nation.
Thank God for Memories . . .
Who are you remembering today?
