I admit it, I am a terrible blogger. I am supposed to be getting the next novel out. So every time I sit down at my desk, I feel guilty if I am NOT working on the next novel. But I truly am grateful for all the reviews. I do definitely read them. I love all the words of encouragement. I have truly been touched by the number of people who have liked 'Adam Hope and taken the time to let others know. Even some of the less supportive criticism has been helpful to me. And the folks who just say it wasn't their cup of tea—that has been surprisingly liberating. I think all of us have a part of ourselves that wishes EVERYONE loved our work, regardless of what that work is. (Five star reviews across the board!) But reading reviews (all reviews, not just for my book) shows me all of the different kinds of readers there are out there and the impossibility of pleasing everyone. It frees me from the temptation of trying to please every reader, and reminds me to keep my focus on the story and making it the best I can. Delicious, filling, and fragrant for those readers who might find it their cuppa. THANKS ALL!
