Music to my ears?

I have noticed lately how many popular recording artists there are out there today who really can't sing. The funny thing about that is that the ones who I think sing worst, sing some of my favorite songs! How is that possible? I suppose I could just be drawn to the music rather than the vocals. But really, who told these people they could sing? Admittedly, I only hit maybe 1 out of 3 notes correctly, but I'm not out there singing in public. Then again, I'm not making millions of dollars either! Ah, well. I'll keep listening to the Plain White T's and the Lumineers and Imagine Dragons until people decide to move on to something new - I just hope it's not worse! :)

Loretta Haha. I guess what hurts one person's ears, caresses another's. As my Nan used to say, "One man's meat is another man's poison". I know where you're coming from though.

Hannah I think sometimes they give the best songs to the worst singers on purpose--like with Britney Spears. It's hard for even an awful singer to make some tunes not catchy. :)
