Book Reviewers

I am getting the impression that Indie Authors are already docked even before the book reviewer reads the book.
It seems as though everyone who can read a book and write a blog is self qualified to become a book reviewer. What qualifications do these book reviewers have that can make or break an upcoming author with just the stoke of a pen or the rhythmic tap of a keypad?
There is much here to be debated. Book reviewers have nothing invested other than turning the page of his or her free book. Think of what the author has invested.
If you dock an author for being an Indie, who are you, what have you contributed to the writing world? Look within and ask yourself, are you truly qualified to give that review?
Are you taking responsibility for your words that can harm another?
This has nothing to do with being thinned skinned...just think about it...the picture is much more broader than that.
