…and that’s exciting.

I haven’t posted for a while. I had a great time at the Winchester Writers’ Conference, and before that I had decided to remove THE NIGHTMARE STONE and ANGELS OF WAR from the amazon KDP scheme.

Why?

Well, the conference was all about networking and meeting agents one-to-one. I wanted the manuscripts to be in tip-top condition for those meetings, and I felt (deep down) that I wasn’t there.

That’s not to say I wasn’t proud of the published versions. Far from it. I had poured so much effort into them and been humbled by the response from readers. Many of the reviews were fantastic.

But…

…it wasn’t enough. I had to test myself, find out if the work would excite a literary agent. And that’s why the books are gone from sale, and that’s why I’m now re-writing THE NIGHTMARE STONE.

I’ll post about that soon. And about the conference, which was great.
