As the world cup starts I’ve been playing my own games this week. More precisely Civ 4 and indulging my megalomaniac side. Other than a couple of poems I haven’t written anything or start the great edit of my new story. I will have to get down to it soon but there is no harm having a break before starting.
Was at the garden centre today. The wife wants some plants for the front garden. I’m not really a flower person though I must admit that they do look good. We got Bizzy Lizzies and Petunias’ not that I know what they are, other than hearing others going on about them. Mainly the wife that is, hehehe. Whilst out at the garden centre I got some plant food for my Lemon tree, which has slowed down in growth recently. After searching online I got the impression that this could be due to it needing feeding. Yes plants need there dinner too it seems and there was me thinking that any old food would do. How wrong was I? Apparently you need a fairly strong feed as Lemon trees are rather greedy and sap the nutrients from the soil fairly quickly. The one I got should help the veg as well so another good reason to get it. I had another feed in the house but it’s a bit old plus I’m not sure it was doing much to feed my little tree. One or two leaves have got brown patches from using it. I read that has something to do with iron. You wouldn’t have thought that growing a plant could be so difficult, would you? At least I have the net to help.

Toni Nelson Thank you for the friend invite Billy. Tell your wife, I love gardening and you haven't had a challenge with dirt until you live in the desert!
