When I first started the Mythaleg series I was living in New Mexico. I found that by traveling across the state I was able to find an amazing array of real life examples that I could use as references for the story.

Now that the second book is coming along, “Into the Unknown,” which will have a large section in the mountains, I found myself once again traveling to New Mexico.

After a week in the mountains a d driving around to see many different areas, I feel refreshed and ready to delve back into the story for the next segment of Ashton and friends ever changing lives.
