well, not quite, as I was in ICU and fully bandaged. (I won't share the post surgery photos for those a bit squeamish).

But it was five years ago today that I'd successfully come out of brain surgery to remove a meningioma that was pushing against my saggital sinus vein.

And while I don't usually share personal info on this blog, five years tumor-free is worth mentioning.
