Yeah, sorry for not updating, been a little preoccupied here....

Had a flood here in Colorado. We're way better off than many folks, but we do have to evacuate the Buckhorn Canyon for the winter. Not only Matt & me, but all our neighbors.

Our main access road completely disappeared, washed away by floods.

Our only other route out of here, which goes up and over a high mountain pass, will be undoable, as soon as teh snow flies.

So we've been packing and sorting and trying to figure out what the heck we're gonna do. Will be landing in town (Fort Collins) for the time being. Then? Well, we'll see :)

We're getting out today, Wednesday, ETD 1 pm, with a cpl of our neighbors caravanning along.

Gonna take a few days to get our bearings once we're safely out. But no worries! We're good, we're packed & ready, we're reconciled to spending the winter away from home. It'll all be fine, whatever "it" turns out to be :)

A very few folks are sticking it out up here, at least for now.
