Very autumnal outside the window this morning, with a robin's mournful winter song drifting across the gardens...

Someone went through all the blog posts in the last couple of days - well, two people actually unless one person went through them twice. I remain mildly curious about the whole process of blogging and the reader's relationship with it. As for sales, well, virtually non-existent. It does appear that e-books have a shelf life, and that as they age they are even less likely to be found by readers. I suppose that's why the people determined to make a business out of it tend to write serials or series, so that each new one directs attention to previous books.

Anyway, I've temporarily given up the general fiction; a detective novel under a new name should hit the screens in a few days' time.
