The Room Beyond is my first novel and took me seven years to complete. I started writing it when I had a young baby and was supposed to be doing a PhD. The PhD was abandoned, two more children came along but I kept on writing! The writing actually happened mainly during my children's sleep times when I desperately needed to exercise my brain and jump into new worlds. After many agency rejections and countless rewrites I finally got my amazing agent, hhb agency, on board. I had a near miss with a really great publisher and then decided to go through the KDP Select route on Amazon.So here I am! The Room Beyond is a labour of love and I hope you'll love reading it as much as I loved writing it. x
