Some days...
Today was super productive. I mopped the entire main floor, cleaned counters and tables with disinfectants, bathed babies and the dog, vacuumed and the list goes on. Feeling pretty good as I cleaned up the dishes from lunch, when suddenly my little toddler staggers out of the pantry holding a lone can of soda that has been in there forever.
My heart sinks... I stare at his gleeful face. No sudden movements or he might startle, like a wild animal or something. I move toward him... calmly asking him to give it to me.
And, of course, being the obedient and wonderful 19 month old that he is... he giggles and chucks it as hard as he can across the room, like a grenade. And, like a grenade, it explodes. Soda begins shooting out everywhere as the can spins around and around in circles.
Soda, soda everywhere. The counters, floor, table, walls... covered. Baby, toddler and mommy... covered. Sad thing is, I couldn't even get too mad. Poor little guy was so terrified from the explosion of soda that he was crying and attempting to climb my legs while his brother cried pitifully in my arms.
Seriously. Most productive morning ever down the toilet.
And how do I even start to clean that?
I hate sticky.
In good news... I received a new 5 star review on Iced Romance... made my day. It said simply: "I got sucked into the emotion of the main character. Not a smut book - just a good old romance. 5 stars!" Thank you, random person from Colorado. You made a sticky, sticky day a lot happier!
