A Note from the Author
Dear Kind Reader,
Thank you for reading my first novel. The years spent writing this work of fiction were deliciously edifying, meaning I had a few big epiphanies about the ups and downs of trying to create something worthwhile – a book much bigger than my own goofy little life.
More rejection letters than I can count passed through my hands. I kept them in a blood red file for a long time, but all eventually were put to good use: burnt in bonfires, pasted on bathroom walls and used to line the cat litter box.
Characters dropped in to audition and didn’t make the cut (at least for this book), the ending changed fourteen times and, although I wanted to kill them all, only one character died, but then who’s really ever seen a heart melt?
See, when you grow up watching Disney animation and Buster Keaton shorts, you know anything can happen. Hear, hear, then: a toast to the beauty of wild, unfettered imagination!
If you liked this book, please help me get discovered by other readers like yourself. Write and post a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. Talk it up to your book club. If you’re so inclined, invite me over to hang out with you and your horse. I’m a highly competent barn rat.
Your support is deeply appreciated. Thank you, again and again, for your encouragement.
Love and light, PL Byrd

Love in the Fourth Dimension: A Restaurant Tale is a novel about...well...you tell me. What is this book about? Love, loss, redemption? Sex, drugs, music? I dunno. It's all there. Do tell.
