The Horizon is Bright

Hey folks,

Some cool things are brewing inside this author's journey.

Let me lay them out for you:

My new novel's manuscript is in its second-to-last draft. I'll be submitting it to traditional publishing houses by the end of next month. The readers of this round speculate the novel may be good enough to get picked up. Time will tell.  My third novel is sitting at 80,000 words and I've worked on it for just under three months. Vallidin was the same length, but took ~6 years, and was infinitely worse.A forth novel is in the works, its plot unraveling daily in my mind.I submitted a short story to the Writer's Digest Popular Fiction Awards contest. The grand prize is $2500, along with a paid trip to the Writer's Digest Conference in L.A. in 2014. One runner-up gets $500. They are hosting another contest next month that I will be entering.I've teamed up with fellow Chagrin Grad Tommy Fox to create a separate blog from this one. Thanks to those who voted in my poll, you helped inspire its creation. The purpose there is to provide quality entertainment, as well as promote emergent author fiction. I will not abandon this blog. I feel it might serve a higher purpose in the future, as an aid for other upcoming authors, if my books should ever be popularized. I also want to use it for fun, to post what I want when I want. Here's to keeping your eyes on a luminous future.
