Some feedback from readers.

I'm really pleased with the feedback I'm getting from people who have read Secrets. Even men - who I didn't think would like it - have said it was a good read. I'm delighted as it's my first book and I must admit I was a bit worried about what sort of opinions I'd get from readers. So I am more relaxed about it now. I made a mistake when describing a Spitfire and a gentleman who was in the RAF emailed me and put me right. I'm grateful to him. I described the canopy on the Spitfire as a hatch. I did intend to check I had the right description but I was on a roll - the words were flowing - and I wanted to get the scene down before it went out of my head. Consequently, I forgot to check. I have changed it now.

Mary Yes, the "hatch" bothered me a little, but other authors - who should know better - have made mistakes, too, so don't let it stop you going on to bigger and better things.
