Augusta Fern has painted beautiful word pictures in describing New Orleans and all the paranormal action that goes on in the story. Most impressive is the detail of dress and furnishings in the areas where the story takes place which gives life to her characters and sets the scene for what transpires. There is a small amount of sex very tastefully done, a FIVE STAR STORY.

I love how the characters evolve and become so real. I also like how it has an old feel to it with a modern twist. A great purchase and I can't wait to read more from the series!!!
