Rangers over Regulus
Hey everybody,
So my book Rangers Over Regulus just came out today with Less Than Three Press and I'm really excited about it! It is coming out as a part of October's Proud to be a Vampire anthology, and I'm looking forward to reading everyone else's stories as well. Rangers also comes out as a part of a bundle package along with E.E. Ottoman's The Memory of Blood and Lotuses and Sasha L. Miller's Drinker Class X. I'm really glad that my book is in a package with such amazing authors.
So just to tell you all a little bit about the story, it's part of a vampire anthology, so it obviously has to have vampires as part of the theme. I wanted to try something a bit different with this story, and so I decided to mix genres by having this story take place in the future, on a space station far from Earth. This was a decision that pleased me because a vampire's life span can cover centuries, and my vampire Liberty was alive over a time period that covers our past, present and future.
On the other hand, all the humans alive at that point were born in our future and find the fact Liberty was alive during our 21st century amazing. It was fun to play around with, and I may do some more genre mixing in the future.
Anyway, that's my story, so I hope that anyone who decides to pick it up enjoys it. Now to go get in gear for this year's NaNoWriMo!
