Traveling for Romance, Inspiration, and Just Because I'm a Gypsy!

As many of you know, I've been traveling quit a bit this summer. Perhaps I've been working through my bucket list, who knows? :-) I spent almost the entire month traveling through September in England, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland, and if that weren't enough, I took a train trip from Washington to Montana to help work out some details of my next book, the fourth in the Train Through Time series.

And now, lo and behold, I am the proud owner of a recreational vehicle. Some of you might remember that when I first started the Will Travel for Romance blog, I was traveling and living in my RV full time...working summers in Glacier National Park and relaxing on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama. In fact, my books, A Penny for Your Thoughts, A Trail of Love, and Across the Winds of Time were all inspired by my travels in the RV. After about two years though, I decided to return to work full time and to relocate near family, so I said goodbye to the full-time RV life.

But the hankering to travel has never gone away, and now I'll be hitting the road again...albeit not full time. I'll keep a home base this time. I'm thinking a few weekends, a week here and there leading up to a month or so on the road. I've purchased an air card so I'll always have internet to keep up with writing!

It's highly possible that I'll develop a series based on my travels, perhaps even a time travel series as readers seem to like my time travel romances. We'll see!

I know I'm excited...and a little apprehensive, but there's a great big world to see out there waiting for me, and I look forward to sharing it with you...either by blog or in my romance novels.

See ya on the road!

Bess
