The week after the big weekend...
So I had some pretty decent download figures during the free promo for Dream Crawler - The Guardian and the Dream Crawler - which was just excellently flattering.
As book one had been out for over a year I wasn't expecting much in the way of free downloads, not to the extent that it achieved, so honestly it was a great feeling. In Total the worldwide figure (still strange to say) was in the thousands - astounding. But of course this free promo had a more important purpose and that was to push the release of book two - The Guardian and the Rogue Shadow.
The Guardian and the Rogue Shadow #2 has maybe been in the making a little longer than I wanted - that's life I guess - but I'm very proud of it. There were times I doubted myself BUT it got there and the outcome has been great. It has received a fair few downloads so far which is fantastic and long may it continue. Of course now I have to get on with book three! An authors work is never done it seems!
In other news, non - author related, I have been enjoying a few new series on TV although there are SO many to keep up with! Thankfully we have the invention of Sky + to help us with that. I have Karl Pilkington's - The Moaning of Life and Stephen Merchants - 'ello ladies for my comedy. Both brilliant by the way. Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and now Dracula are also waiting to be watched on my planner. Walking Dead is awesome, Game of Thrones brilliant and Dracula looks promising too so yes, when I'm not writing, working, being a husband and father I will try to catch-up with those...
My weekend was also made all the better by my team Newcastle United beating Chelsea 2-0! Very, very good weekend indeed.
Hope you're all well and I will try to do this more often :)
