The Friend Zone **revised*** Excerpt
MATURE LANGUAGE!!!
While working on More Than Friends(the second book in The Friend Zone series) my mind kept constantly drifting back to the first book. I was so excited about publishing this novella! After publishing The Friend Zone, I kind of became obsessed with the novella all over again. Words and scenes started flowing through my mind like water through the tap. So I decided to re-edit and make it bigger and better! I am finally close to a point where The Friend Zone is almost complete and I am so happy with what the final product has become. So here is a little taste of the new and improved The Friend Zone!
MATURE Language***
Sarah opens her eyes and takes in Skye's sweaty naked chest and his track pants. I can only image what my dirty minded friend is thinking. Knowing her as well I do she will probably be sharing her thoughts with us in 3 2 1. Right on cue she looks to me and smiles so big I think her face is going to split in half. I silently beg her to keep whatever's floating around in her head to herself. Its pointless though, her words come out like verbal vomit, spewing all over the place.
“Chloe...are we dead? Is this heaven?” My mouth drops and I’m sure my eyes are as big as saucers. Skye bursts out laughing. I try not to provoke her by laughing at her but Skye's laugh is contagious. I shake my head at my friends dumb ass comment. “Why the hell would you even say that?” I ask her rolling my eyes. “Well” she says like it should be obvious.
She gestures to Skye. “You can’t tell me you don’t see that angel standing beside you!” Skye is now holding his stomach and is hunched over with his laughter. Im so glad he finds this amusing. I turn to Sarah “What the fuck are you on? This is Skye and He is probably the farthest this from an angel!”
"Hey I resent that!" Skye pretends to be offended. Sarah says "Oh I agree with Chloe, now that I can really get a look at you. You are definately sinful." She throws Skye a playful wink. He seems to be taking her personality well. Most people dont know how to take Sarah so it's hard for her to make friends. I turn to a still laughing Skye. “Skye, this is my demented friend Sarah." I turn back to Sarah "I am going to take a shower, do you think you could ya know.. maybe..not harass my guest in any way?"
She smiles at me and nods. I take that as my cue to leave and that I could count on her to behave. Ha was I dumb, no sooner did I turn the corner I heard “You have a nice ass! I bet you’re a stud in the sack!” My jaw hit the floor! What the hell was wrong with my deranged friend? Im going to kill her!

There ya go! I know it was just a small taste, but I can't give you all the eggs in my basket now can I! I still have some work to do with the book and I am working my fingers to the bone. So I should have it released in a couple of weeks. So make sure to keep your eyes open for Chloe and Skye and tell your friends!
