Christianity – Time to Gain Credibility
Credibility is an issue at most levels of society in our country. It is also an issue with Christianity. I have listened to some (well, actually a lot) of politicians and commentators state a lot of opinions regarding Christianity and moral values in this country. I have also heard more of the slam dunks from the anti-Christian part of our society as well. In both arenas there is a lot talk that is questionable. The anti-groups just put all of it into a corral and call it what they want while the pro-Christianity ones speak out of ignorance or culture induced opinions; everything from Jesus didn’t write the Bible to Jesus was a socialist to the God thing is a made up fairy tale. Most of the comments are acquired from others as they have no basis for saying what they are saying. They JUST DON’T KNOW and whatever fits their perspective on life is what they go with. Let me challenge you. Pursue God with an open mind and heart and see if He is real. You can’t find faith or unbelief on the shoulders of others. Whether you believe or don’t believe, you have to come to this conclusion yourself, individually. You cannot afford to ride on someone else’s shirt tail. Of course I believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah, but your experience with faith cannot be through me. It has to be authentic. Get my book, “goDS of Our Religion – Christianity in America – An Inside Conversation.” It will encourage you to find faith on your own. If it isn’t authentic, then is it real?
