NEW!!! From the amazing KATIE METTNER

Every once in a great while, you come across a soul so sweet and genuine, you're automatically best friends. That's what Katie has become for me. On top of all the other common bonds we have, we both love writing! I am so excited to announce that Katie has released the third in her Sugar series!!  Just read on....I promise you, not only does she write wonderfully, but the spirit and love within the story is contagious and you can't help but fall in love with the characters!

When Sugar’s journey started back in 2010 I had intended Sugar’s Dance to be a stand alone novel. Sugar was a soul I’d had inside my head for years and when I hit publish on Dance in 2011 it felt incredibly gratifying. Then people started reading it and saying, “Well, don’t leave us hanging! What happens next?” So, fortified with the knowledge that others felt her story wasn’t done, I wrote Sugar’s Song, and when I hit publish in 2012 I knew there would be one more. Why? Because there was one more thing Sugar needed to do, and that was find the light. When Sugar’s Song closes she is pretty close to being able to put her past behind her, and look at all the new changes in her life as her future. And I can tell you I had the whole next book worked out in my mind, until I sat down to write Sugar’s Night. Absolutely nothing I intended to write actually came out. I had intended Sugar to host the ballroom dance competition, which is mentioned at the end of Song, and then at the end of the book she’d dance the dance of her lifetime, curtain close, the end. Welllllllll, it turns out that’s not what happened and we can all thank Van for that. The story went from Sugar being on the edge of the spotlight ready to shine, to being shoved back into the darkness of why she was left behind. Some would say “you did that in dance.” And the truth is I did, partially, but the Sugar’s Night you read now is a gritty, dirty, tumultuous, wicked, cruel and completely gratifying waltz through the final notes of putting her personal and professional life on the right course. It’s about finally releasing the burdens she has carried all these years and letting her soul free again. Along the way we get to meet some new friends who change the course of Sugar’s night. Go ahead and read that however you’d like, but it won’t make sense until you read the final pages J. One of those friends, Grant Harris, was so woven into her night, unexpectedly, he needed his own story. He will get that when his story is told in Granted Redemption coming in the spring as part of my new series. I don’t want to give too many more spoilers, but I will say with all those new friends, and a lot of old ones, Sugar does dance the dance of her life at the end of her story, but is it the end, or is it just the beginning? And these three remain; faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is…… to be continued.
