A long time coming....
This new year brings something that's been a long time coming for me.
The covers have finally started to come together for the series - A Circle of Friends.
This series was my very first series. Think of it as about 4 years before the WindSwept Narrows.
I began writing them when the C64 (Commodore 64) computers were first in the public. A really long damn time ago. Since then - with many people telling me it wasn't possible - I found ways to convert them, upgrade them and bring them along until they're now in MS Word. (phew) I lost a few along the way on floppies and small disks and a heck of a lot of moving.
I wrote them when there were guide sheets given out by the publishers in control of writing.
Circle of Friends are sexy - but not nearly as erotic as erotic writing of the present. They are, however, (I think) funny, romantic and complicated stories of life stuff.
They require a lot of editing and I can still see signs of their past conversions, which is why it takes a bit of time.
If you're a fan of the WindSwept Narrows, you've already met Nyssa & Pembrook. Now you'll have the chance to see their stories and how things sprouted in their lives.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them.
