Tricia Douglas Please explain what the Kitsap Reporter is. I'm assuming is a section in your local newspaper?

Crystal Marcos The Kitsap Reporter is a county newspaper and the What's up section is a special section that includes entertainment happenings. I am excited at how large a piece it was. There was my beautiful colorful book cover staring back at me. You couldn't miss it. I am grateful for the piece. Thank you for asking!

Tricia Douglas I'm so excited for you. Your book "Bellyache" is now at the top of my stack!!! I had to finish a boring book before I got to yours. I can't wait. Hopefully you're working on the next one? After I get all of my school boxes unpacked an organized I have some stories in mind to write too. Maybe I'll stay out of trouble that way! Wish you were closer and I send you some of the thousands of books that I'm getting rid of. How old is your daughter?

Thank you! I was going to keep it hush-hush for a while, but so many people have asked. Yes, there will be a sequel. I am soooo excited to hear the feedback on my book and the reviews I have are just wonderful! I think it would be great for you to write! My daughter is 13 months old. I knew a while ago she was going to be a reader. She turns the pages of her books so carefully and studies the pages. Hopefully, after she uses crayons, I can still say she takes care of her books!
