It took me 10yrs to write Dream-Face-Masque because of post-traumatic-disorder. I was supposed to be dead and my mind was erased.
To live in the present and not in the past was a battle within me. My mind was like a minefield,flashbacks and reliving the past was hell to me.
It felt like I used half of the rain forest writing it because of all the mistakes that I made. I was still working on my focus and concentration which was distorted by the trauma, So,I exercised my mental muscles by writing.
