Diana Maryon The few books that I have read in that form have struck me as hard to read for physical reasons. I really do prefer to hold the thing in my hand and turn real pages, even, when it's my own copy, to mark it up with pencil.

The best in my view that can be said about e-books is that with a Kindle or the like one can carry a whole lot of reading-matter on a journey.

Michael Thompson Wow. How late is THIS reply? 2 years old. I've been writing far too much, and not paying attention to Goodreads. Now that I've finished the sequel to The Rector, I'm getting back into Goodreads. But, still not sure how to handle so much "volume" on it. At any rate, I agree with you re Kindle versus having the physical paper in your hands.
