my musing

Above and beyond all things, a writer like any artist, must be true to themselves and their craft, and strive to create a thing of beauty to give to the world; Whether it be grotesque, enchanting, sorrowful, or joyful. The job of a writer is to calm and quicken the reader, stir the emotions so they feel alive in another place, another time maybe. We are guides and puppet masters of worlds for them to escape to. Every time we write, there is no other goal than to shape the reader, and give them something beautiful.
