A soulful Cha-Cha!

George Bernard Shaw once said: “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”

May these reflections inspire by the novel, CREDERE, encourage a more compassionate version of us. I have decided to include sections from the Tao to add richness to the learning for I have a personal belief that all learning is ‘recycled’ at some level. The same spirit of greatness inspires you, me, and all of humanity, past and present writers and thinkers of possibility.

• Verse 29th of the Tao:
“All of life is a movement toward perfection.”
• CREDERE’s inspiration:
“Heaven, another word for complete love, does not mean that we have reached our apex of self-development. No, rather, our journey toward the light has just begun ….[complete love] is our second chance at moving closer toward our life’s mission [it is this knowingness that will lead us to our] heart’s song, a song of divine purpose. We all have it; it’s a part of the creation story, it is our creation story …guidance will always be there. We merely have to ask for it ” (pages 15 & 16).

The wisdom of Tao Tzu reminds us that life is a movement toward perfection. After writing CREDERE, I believe his usage of the word ‘perfection’ signifies finding our heart’s song, a song of divine purpose. Dr. Wayne Dyer once said: “Don’t let the music die within you.” Only you can hear and understand the melodic genius of your life’s song.

Within that same verse, Tao Tzu says, “Everything under heaven is a sacred vessel and cannot be controlled. Trying to control lead to ruin. Trying to gasp, we lose.” This passage reminds me of trying to ‘catch’ air with our hands. A near impossibility, yet in order to experience its life giving force, it should simply be inhaled. The same principle holds for unlocking this gift. Do not to try to define or categorize it, no instead, just experience and enjoy it! And there resides the perfection of life’s movement, a dance of soulfulness.

QUESTION FOR REFLECTION: Can our heart’s song change over time, or do you belief we have one song for life (eternity)? How do you know what you know? Peace. Love. Inspiration. Hermy x
