What pushes me along to finish a book? Why, the burning idea for the next one, of course! Thinking about those new characters and situations gives me extra impetus to finish the work in progress. May sound strange, but it works for me!

It's amazing what we have to do to fool ourselves!
My husband's aunt just read, A Sharecropper's Christmas and absolutely loved it. I told her she would. We are both looking forward to more of your books.

Unlike you, I sometimes use the idea for the next book as an excuse to neglect the first. I have some books 40 years in the making. Your method sounds better.
That's a great goal, Carlene, I always struggle with the book I'm on. Maybe looking ahead would be a better idea.
