Ivy's never met a merman. In fact, she thought it was just a rumor that they lived in the lake under the school. When she finally meets one, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to him. Though they can't communicate, she meets him every day. Separated by a wall of glass, she finds there are ways to talk without speaking. But will that be enough for Ivy? Or will she have to venture into the depths of the lake before she can be fully satisfied?
