Working On a Cover

My short story’s done. It deals with how Tony and Rick met as 10-year-olds, on their first day of school (and, strangely enough, it’s titled “First Day of School”). Since I’m giving the book away, I don’t want to spend money on the cover — especially since I have none. But even for short stories, covers are important, so I’m going to do my best to make it a grabby one. I am no artist, but I’ve done enough of this so that I should be able to come up with something better than awful.

It’ll be much different than the “Internet Kill Switch” cover (and not nearly as good), but I have a couple of ideas to make it interesting. We’ll see how it works out.
