In life there are two things we can count on. Everything has a beginning and everything has an ending. Sometimes the line between the two is hard to see, or is blurred. Sometimes there is a definite line and it can be a hard one to cross. Sometimes a beginning was a long time ago and the ending is far off in the future. But no matter the time between the two, there is always a beginning and always an end.

So, here is to another beginning of mine. goodreads. I have blogs in other places (woodpress, tumblr) and, of course, social media (twitter, facebook) but this is a new venture for me. A new format. A new way to find those who share a passion I am just beginning to realize has a much greater pull in my life than I ever thought possible. And I'm very excited to continue to have those new beginnings.

There is a thought that we all walk our own path alone but that path crosses or runs parallel to every person we have ever met and for those we have yet to meet. We meet, walk together for a while (regardless of how long that while may be) and then go our seperate ways - sometimes to walk together again for a while - sometimes not. But either way we may walk our path alone but we are never alone.

Here's to walking together - if only for a little while.
