WTF? (Flip)

Honestly, I have been freaking out--as everyone who publishes does--to see what the reaction to Captured Again would be.

It's just a story. With romance and suspense...and love and happily ever after for one, and it can be read that way... as just another romantic suspense book and some people won't notice--but underneath it all I wanted to tip my hat in a small way to all the victims out there who suffer panic attacks, nightmares, anxiety, and 'numbing,' which is 'forgetting' or getting confused.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is real, and it's not just our soldiers who live with it (although I do tip my hat to them, too). Anyone can have it: children, men, or women.

It's an invisible illness and can come from being in war zones, accidents, situations of abuse, or a million other ugly things that regular people deal with every day. I tried to shine a little light on that while creating this story, and I'm breathing a sigh of relief as the first reviews are coming in, and touched that so many people are reaching out via private message, email and a few here publicly (see recent posts at top right of page). I cherish each message from you all, even the ones I can't share or the ones I'd love to be seen on a review. It means the world to me that I've touched your life in some way. Thank you for sharing that with me--and please don't stop!
