 In Feb 2012, I published my first book. A poetry book. It contained around 70 something poems in it I believe that I had collected over my growing up years. Poetry was a way for me to escape in my emotions. And I had been told by numerous teachers to publish it. So I finally did.










Shortly after that in April 2012 I published my first fictional novel, I've got you covered. Me and my friend Tyler had been working on this story line for probably a good 6-8 years. Stopping and restarting it. Finally we had enough for 1 book that turned into 2 books come fall 2012 and three books come spring 2013. And now come Fall 2014 will finish up the story with book 4.








While walking my Indie journey I started doing book reviews for other Indie Authors. I not only got to read some amazing stories I made some really awesome friends this way as well. So in my review journey I started Turning The Pages. It was a small idea that has continued to grow. Turning the Pages started as a simple Magazine for Indie Authors to have their stuff published and shown to the world. Just another spot for them to be seen in. Because exposure is a big key in the Indie world.








My journey is only 2 years old. But I have accomplished SO much in that 2 years its amazing to me. Me a little back woods country girl from Western North Carolina with a degree in Medical Office.

Feb 2014 I published a novelette that I have plans to turn into a full novel in 2016. This Novelette sparked the interest for my Season's of Love collection that will include 4 books.

I've got a good amount of stories still left in me that I plan to publish over the next few years. My rough draft plan for these is as followed, but keep in mind it is a rough draft and could be subject to change....

So that is the next 5 year plan, well 6 year plan if you count this year... But as you can see each year is full of great stories I want to share with you and no I don't have a specific Genre I write. I do tend to have the Young Adult/New Adult age characters in my stories though. And I am always adding more story ideas to my list. I think I actually have a plan all the way into 2025 but I haven't checked recently enough to confirm that but its somewhere back there.


As for Turning the Pages it continues to grow. Hosting Events online and now in person. Running not one but a couple of magazines and continuing to find things to piddle in. Including now we are even making custom swag for authors.


The future is bright and full of amazing things still yet to come.
