Casey's Philosophy

It's not often we find a hero in a story with a sleep disorder. But that's the case in Sleep When You're Dead, the thriller novel featuring Casey Thread, who struggles with narcolepsy. He has attacks at all the wrong moments--in bed with his girlfriend, while driving a car, and when face to face with a murderer. He struggles to come to peace with his disorder. He tries to keep his philosophy simple: "Maybe the question isn't whether God exists, but how we act. If we all act like God doesn't exist, then for all intents and purposes God doesn't. But if we act like God does exist, then in essence, She does."
