Cecilia Wow...I don't think most of us readers realize how tough it is to 'make-it' in the big-league publishing world of a known author.

I'm sorry you had to go through so much personally before you arrived at a 'formula' that worked for you in getting your books published & sold.

I'm sure other authors and readers reading your blog appreciate the honesty & frankness of your message. With the economy as it is, everyone is more careful in how they spend their money. As much as I personally don't care for ebooks, I have learned to appreciate them for the fact that readers can have them for a fraction of what a hardback would cost.

Guess we all have to adjust our lives & be more creative in these times.

Thank you for sharing this, Vincent.

Vincent Zandri Right on Cecilia....The facts about publishing are sobering when you are exposed to them first hand. Which is why, although it will take some getting used to, e-books are so good for authors in terms of economics. E-Books won't replace paper or vice-versa, they two will share the same podium. But e-books are allowing authors like me to earn a decent living or in my case right now, supplement my work as a freelance journalist...
Cheers
