Dearest Darling: My Lover

Male gesture drawing

My dearest darling my lover, close to my heart,

Why did you leave me?

I never let our secret out. My heart bleeds out in anguish.

My eyes pour out tears of pure love for the only one.

It tears me apart to mend you into my soul.

My dearest lover,

I’m in desperate need for your affection.

It cries out for you.

The silver bell does not unlock my soul.

My dearest lover,

Come fill me with richness of the deepest desire of my heart.

My cup is empty, and just the very thought of you makes me quiver.

My lover.

My dearest lover,

Our two morning coffee cups are filled with milk and my tears.

I drink it to mend me to your wondering soul and shower the daffodils you use to play with.

My dearest lover,

You were always by my side morning, noon, and night.

I beg you to take me away with you were every you go.

I was no trouble.

Was the other lover better than I?

How much agony is there for me?

Well, let the cat meow, my dearest darling lover.
