Review: Queers

Queers

Queers by A.J. Rose

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a 5 star for me–and I’m getting picky about that 5th star! The author wove several story threads together, sometimes parallel to each story line, sometimes perpendicular to it, but always masterfully done to keep the tension escalating. At points in the story, the tension was so intense, I had to put the story down, take a deep breath and walk away. But wanting to know, needing to know what comes next, didn’t allow me to stay away for very long.

Common everyday lives of older twenty-somethings, on the verge of–always on the verge of what each person wanted most, made for a very extraordinary novel. Excellent storytelling. Excellent writing.

AJ Rose had already made my automatic buy list with his Power Exchange series. This novel shows me how versatile he is with plot and character development. He now goes on my pre-buy list.
