Ninja. What comes to mind when you hear that word? More then likely, action flicks, right? Especially the ones in the 80's. (American Ninja, Revenge of the Ninja, etc.) In actuality, this is an amazing and spiritual art, which, unfortunately, has been misconstrued by Hollywood again and again.

I had the privilege of studying this martial art back in the 90's, and as it was one of many chapters in my life, I wrote about my training in my autobiography....

Like most authors, I sometimes draw from my past when writing my fictional work, and did so for my novella Bleeding Perseverance, which is about a Ninja who goes to Afghanistan and ends up crossing paths with a Muslim girl who could use his help...
