Guardians Of The Night

I have been working on one of my many projects and today have decided on a Title for a new series that I am working on.

It won't be released until next year as I want to have 2 books in the series ready for release around the same time.

Some of you will remember me posting on my FB page about Marshal and Alysia, well, this is their series. Guardians of The Night.

I'm still trying to decide on the title for Book 1 and have several titles lined up such as, Death Comes Calling, Wolf Bound, Awakening the Power, Alysia's Fate, and even Marshals Mate, but as yet I haven't decided.

I know some of you are waiting for Book 5 in the Forest Of Dean Wolves, I am ahead of my schedule and plan to release it in September 2014 or earlier if everything continues to go to plan.

Tempting Fate is nearly finished but as yet, I have no planned date for release.

Book 2 in The Darkest Vampires will be released towards the end of the year. I've had some great feedback about this book, but I still can't tempt you into writing a small review!

If you have read any of my books, it would be great if you could leave a review or even give it a star rating, every little helps.

Thanks,
Kirstie.

K.A. Jones Here's a little snippet from Book 1.

The idea that my two friends were witches and had no knowledge of their ancestral background completely confounded me. I sat in silence trying to get my mind to work past the fact that they were witches. I thought back to their strange quirky ways, I’d often seen them silently chanting and when I asked what they were saying, they looked bewildered and embarrassed and usually replied in an off beat manner that they had no idea. Was this the effect of being de-witched?

Marshal placed a hand on my thigh and in his deep voice softly said, “Mischa and Nicole know nothing of their time in the coven, all memories of that time and the fact that they are witches has been temporarily removed from their minds, for their continued safety it is imperative that this information isn’t disclosed to them, do you understand what is being asked of you?”

A disgruntled breath left my lips, followed by a shaky nod of my head. I hated secrets, and I wasn’t sure that I would be able to act normally around them anymore, knowing what I did added an unwelcome burden to my growing pile, and it was one that I could do without!

Leo stood and stretched before adding, “Mischa is very special to me Alysia, I love her and as much as I hate the fact that she works for Felix, I trust that the spells that have been cast upon her will keep her safe. Now I have to trust you to keep her safe from this knowledge. She is my mate and if she gains an inkling that she possesses any magic, her safety will be compromised because she will be able to unlock the spell that stops her from using her powers.”

Protectiveness came to the forefront and I asked, “Do you know for sure that she is your mate and you’re not just interested in her witchy magic?”

He nodded with conviction. “I’m sure that there is no other for me, my wolf is all for claiming her every time I see her. I didn’t know about her magic, it was only once I had done some research on her that I found everything out. Marshal knows all of the details and is happy for me to continue in my quest to make her mine. Her magical gift is safely locked away, even if she didn’t have magic, she is the girl for me, I know it and my wolf knows it.” His voice held such sincerity that it was impossible not to believe him.
