Emerging from the cave

Sheesh! I feel like I'm crawling back into the sunlight after hibernating all winter--except I've been doing the very opposite of hibernating. I spent the last six weeks writing my sixth book, currently titled Trouble Child after the Joni Mitchell tune of the same name, and after pounding out an average of three scenes a day I got the whole thing done in just 29 days! 114,386 words, arranged in 83 scenes that make up 18 chapters and an epilogue and cover 227 single-spaced pages. Oy.
