He wants out of his ordinary life and she wants in.

Stassi is everything he’s not.  Confident, strong, ruthless.  More animal than human, really.  When Jack discovers more about the Lycena and their eternal fight, he can’t help but be drawn into their world.  However, nothing is as it seems, and it’s a choice that has tragic consequences for them both as neither are prepared for the cunning of the serpent that slithers just out of sight.
