Hello Goodreaders! My siblings and I are doing a countdown.... 13 days to the paperback publication of our memoir The Kids Are All Right. We wrote 16 new pages--a what happened next that was directly inspired by all of friends and fans who read the hardcover and said, WHAT HAPPENED NEXT???!!! Did Diana rebel against her preppy upbringing and get tattoed??? (um, yes) Did Dan end up in jail? (Hallelujah NO. And in fact he is the bursting with pride father of Jackson Robert Welch) Does Amanda still swear like a truck driver? (what do you think?) And did I ever find true love? All these questions and more are answered, along with lots of new photos and other tasty treats.

The actual launch is September 14th, and we will be celebrating with a reading in Brooklyn, NY at Powerhouse Arena in DUMBO at 7pm. If you are in the NY area, please come join us for a glass of wine: we'll read new pages, answer any questions and have a good time. That is the one thing we Welches know how to do: after too much heartbreak too young, we realize life is short. Might as well celebrate every minute of it! So please come celebrate with us!
