When Researching Becomes Scary!
Note to self!
Try to avoid researching topics about anything paranormal late at night...especially when you have an overactive imagination.
It also helps if you are not overly superstitious.
Plus, when you are looking up demons and the like,it is wise not to say their names over and over in order to get the pronunciation right.
Why?you may ask.
Because I also unearthed a little fact that says one should never speak a certain demon's name aloud if they would like to avoid a one on one meeting.'
Suffice it to say,I had goosebumps and was more than a little on edge afterwards.
Even later that night,as I lay in bed preparing for sleep, all that my mind was interested in doing was scaring the hell out of me by suggesting that something not of this earth loomed in the darkness that had now surrounded me at the day's culmination.
Thankfully,I made it through the night;although I am expecting my unconscious thoughts over the coming weeks to serve up a whole host of nightmares about ghosts, demons and the great unknown.
Yet,as I write this,I am pondering whether or not to test my luck again tonight by letting google lead me on another voyage of discovery inside the weird and wonderful world of myths and legends.
Unfortunately,I am too curious for my own good.
Wish me luck people.
This may be the last time you hear from me.
