Hello beautiful ladies!
I've had a busy few weeks here at French towers. I'm furiously working on my next erotic release, which is entitled Genie ~ the big cover reveal happens next week, I'll drop you a line to show you, because it's FABULOUS! The book is coming out over the summer, exact release date to be confirmed. It's set in a London burlesque theatre and I have to tell you that Abel Kingdom, the hero, is TO DIE FOR! He's proving a handful to write, I've included some snippets over on my Facebook page.
Today, however, is all about a different book for me. Some of you might remember Undertaking Love from its first outing a year or so back. Well, it's since been bought by Avon (heart-stopping news for me at the time!) at HarperCollins, and they've given it a full Cinderella makeover… re-edited, enriched, new chapters sprinkled throughout and a juicy epilogue at the end. It's been a real labour of love to work on it again, and I'm thrilled with the end result. (If you have the previous version, I'm sorry to let you know it won't auto-update as it's now published by a different imprint.)
For me, this feels kind of like giving birth. :) I've nurtured this book over a period of many months, and then today it's popped out into the world and I'm left desperately hoping that people will love it and think it's beautiful. It also feels a bit like taking all of your clothes off and running down the street naked waving your bra over your head ~ it's exposing, and terrifying, and exhilarating, and it makes you feel the need for a very large gin!
So, the book. It's a romantic comedy set in the English countryside, a proper sexy summer blockbuster with a big cast and a wonderful hero called Gabriel Ryan. He's possibly the sexiest undertaker in the world, and his arrival in the village on a dirty great motorbike with a van full of coffins in tow sets the scene for all kinds of trouble. To put it into some kind of context for you, it's what you might get if you mixed Four Weddings with a splash of Jilly Cooper and a dash of Jackie Collins… a charmingly rude romp. :)
It's brand new today at just 99p, and available from all e-retailers.
